FREE Computer Training for Job Seekers and Public

Computer Training for Job Seekers and the Public at the New Brunswick Free Public Library

In collaboration with Middlesex County College, the New Brunswick Free Public Library will offer four computer-training classes on Microsoft Windows,
Microsoft Word, Using email and the Internet for both job seekers and anyone interested in learning computer skills.

The classes will focus on the basic computer skills needed by every job applicant today. All courses will be at a basic user level and built around workforce development skills.

Microsoft Windows: Wed. December 14, 2011, 10:30 a.m.-12: 30 p.m.
Microsoft Word: Thur. December 15, 2011 10:30 a.m.-12: 30 p.m.
Internet: Tue. January 10, 2012, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Email: Wed. January 11, 2012, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

The sessions are made possible by the New Jersey State Library’s BTOP (Broadband Technology Opportunity Program) Project. The program’s goal is to
make New Jersey’s libraries strategic job-creating facilities by adding computer workstations, upgrading Internet connectivity, and providing job search
assistance and workforce development programs.
